They played Europe‘s biggest venues like Ziggo Dome Amsterdam, Uber Arena Berlin or Mediolanum Forum Milan. 21 Shows, all of them sold out, more than 250.000 people on the whole tour. What a huge thing for an independent band from Vienna.
Filip Clements describes his debut album, Soft Apocalypse, as a universe. Bold, expansive and shimmering with possibility, it is also a universe of contrasts – light and darkness, confidence and vulnerability, brooding indie rock influences and vibrant pop hooks.
Written, produced, and recorded alongside a stellar line-up of collaborators, including Grammy-winners Catherine Marks (boygenius, Ed O’Brien), Martin Terefe (Yungblud, Robbie Williams), and Tord Knudsen (The Wombats), Soft Apocalypse is a dynamic introduction to an artist not afraid to do things differently.
As the title suggests, there is hope and beauty to be found in a world on fire. And Clements is the perfect guide.
